Lockhart: The Battle of Plum Creek

The Great Comanche Raid and Battle of Plum Creek changed the course of history for Texans in the 1840’s, and this fascinating piece of history happened right here in Lockhart! Join us to hear the full story from the man who literally wrote a book about it, Donaly Brice. All ages welcome. No registration required.

Meet: Program will be held inside the park Recreation Hall. Please arrive a few minutes early to give yourself time to check into the park and drive up to our Rec Hall.

Fees: Regular park entrance fees apply ($3/adult, free for children 12 & under). If our office is closed when you arrive, please use the self-pay station to check in.
