Anahuac: Chambers County Courthouse

A WPA project, the moderne style building dates from 1936. The architect was Cornell  G. Curtis. The building is in good condition and has not been altered, nor or there any additions. This is a significant example of the federal influence on Texas courthouses in the first half of the 20th century.
