Brazoria: Levi Jordan Plantation First Saturday Site Tours

Texas Historical Commission (THC) staff members will discuss the development plans for this unique plantation property, which is not yet open on a daily schedule.

The plantation is one of 20 historic properties administered by the THC. Walking tours of the site will give visitors an overview of the history of its past occupants, ongoing preservation efforts, and the rich archeological resources that are an important part of interpreting this site. The tour includes a stroll through the quarters area, where former slave residences once stood.
